Mr Podge

#20

Character design based upon an object. I based mine on a flask of podge. Guess what is in that big gun over there then. Yes it is podge. :V

And a mecha pilot because I wanted to draw one.

He is in an advanced cockpit, flying over the ocean.

Some sketches before the weekend.

I uploaded that first girl to DeviantART too.

skintones

I painted three different types of skin to practice. I really should vary them more in my work.

recent works

Two paintings and a commission I forgot to post here. The bird was the commissioned piece. Other than that I am trying to push my digital paintings more...

fright nights 2

just posting a new commission I finished here. I will create a bigger blog post with more text and pictures later this week... I hope. We will see. It depends on my free time. Tomorrow I have to go to the office and Saturday it is Judgement day for art school, so things will be busy.

standing tall

I did this commission several months ago, now I am finally posting it online. It is the super hero character of the client sitting on a strange creature while being... heroic. This was a really fun commissions since I got loads of artistic freedom.

Also, don´t forget to check out machina´s new page!

painting, drawing, etc

This Sunday (Sunday is the day I usually paint) I finished off  this acrylic painting.

First I was not sure if it was finished or not, but I do like it when the painting is still a little rough. In the end I decided it is finished. It forms a bigger painting with its counterpart, which you can view here:

Other than that I tried some crocheting, but this is really hard! 0_0 I want to make a Granny Square blanket but I wonder if I ever manage to do that. These blankets seem very funny and warm so it seemed like something nice to do.

I also drew something that looked like Zelda (the photo distorts it kinda but oh well):

It's almost done now. It has been ages that I colored something the traditional way!

the big black book

Guess what? I started a new sketchbook again. I really keep too many sketchbook haha.
This time it is a big A4 black sketchbook. Well, most of my sketchbooks are black anyway.

This is the book that I will use when I travel somewhere. I will still use the little sketchbook when I cannot take something A4-sized with me. That makes sense to me. (probably not too most people, but oh well, I am weird). These were done in trains and at school!

Roj and the Re-Dead

A few days ago I finished this commission, which is for a client that will gift it to a friend. It is their friend Roj who is chases by a Re-Dead from the Legend of Zelda. I am not really familiair with that game, but luckily there are plenty of references for that.
In other news, my school starts tomorrow. I cannot wait to start with new drawing lessons!

Guess the week started now, eh?

machina

I cannot believe I never really posted about this before. But now I finally shall post about my web comic. It has been around for a few months now, I think. Anyway, this is my comic about a green-haired guy that likes to wear mecha suits and fight in it.

Today's page is B07. I suggest to start reading from the beginning if you have not seen this comic yet. Be sure to let me know if you like it or not :D

drawing at the pool

A few days ago I went to the pool because it was very hot weather. Actually, it is still hot weather but I won't be having time to go  to the pool again I think. Anyway, I drew some people there and some random things from imagination. It is like free life drawing sessions, but then on the grass, with people that move.

dumpin

It is time to drop my sketches again! As you can see I really prefer sketching with ballpoint pens and fineliners. This time it was a pink fineliner. I also listened a lot of Basshunter lately, no idea why.
Anyway I really should post some other stuff than just sketches here I think...
Maybe next time!
