School work from Saturday. I ended drawing pollen since the teacher liked that idea the most. The lesson was about connecting your personal life to your artwork. I thought of some things and hayfever was one of them. Hayfever has quite an impact on me because I have had it much since childhood.

Oof everything was so busy because of Easter. So much family stuff @_@
Anyway, I finished that mermaid illustration earlier in the previous week. I finished the last one today. ^^;

Remaking Velazquez

Yesterday I had school. My task was to remake a work by the painter Velazquez. The teacher chose this painting of a little girl in a big dress for me to work on.

First we had to edit copies of the painting by hand. Here I made her "3D".

Erasing all unnecessary details

Adding new things

Replacing things (and I mader her taller too)

I even made her into a cartoony style.

After that I started working on the big version. I had to make my own version of this painting so I chose my favourite medium: ballpoint pens. I also used pencils, markers and paint.

busy drawing differently

For school I have been drawing in a different way. I quite like it. The above drawing is actually not blue but my camera is a bit weird sometimes.

These were the sketches I made before the fish picutre.

After that I sketched some more ideas...

Character design based upon an object. I based mine on a flask of podge. Guess what is in that big gun over there then. Yes it is podge. :V
