This winter I am going to try to keep my feet warm with these! Ok it is not working already because my feet get cold all the time, but oh well, I gotta keep trying.
I saw these fish at some market a while ago, I found this pretty actually. I think fish are too beautiful to eat actually, but I have to sometimes for my diet.
This is a new painting I finished for school. I was inspired to paint about periods again (guess I had one huhu) and I connected it with... communism. You know, red blood -> red army, right? Probably the weirdest painting I have done.
I started on a new painting too, but it is just a messy sketch for now.
These apples lay in a funny way I thought. They are from the garden actually.
Oh and I tried to film my hamster, so maybe I can upload it one day. I will have to edit a lot, since animals are so unpredictable.

Shaodin portrait
I made a portrait of my bird character, he's got a redesign too. His hair is different now. I am going to use this as an icon for some websites.

Tool
Tool is a character from the books "Ship Breaker" and "The Drowned Cities" by Paolo Bacigalupi. This image is commissioned by a client. I had to read the books first to imagine the character and then I drew him. Tool is a "half-man", which means he is part human, part tiger and part hyena. He fights a lot, so that is why I drew him with lots of scars. He does not like to be called "dog-face".

bag of candy
Elena and Ruyumon found the bag of candy now. This is an entry for an OCT I am in. The previous part is here. Luckily I got these done in time! In fact almost a week before the deadline, so that is nice. I have got more stuff to finish before the end of October so I must get more productive teehee.

adventures of my spoons sculpture and biro drawings
If you visited my blog before, you may remember this sculpture. I finished it now (in other words: ran out of plastic spoons), so I took more photos of it for school.
as window decoration
It is almost like a robot, even though it does not move.
After that I took it apart to take it with me next class. There I will have to rebuild it, I hope it is not broken by then.
I also made an A3 biro drawing featuring myself. I felt like it was time to create a self-portrait without any references.
I also started on a new drawing, here you can see it will take a while because of all the details.

standing tall
I did this commission several months ago, now I am finally posting it online. It is the super hero character of the client sitting on a strange creature while being... heroic. This was a really fun commissions since I got loads of artistic freedom.
Also, don´t forget to check out machina´s new page!

self-portrait class
Yesterday's class theme was self-portrait and we had to make line drawings of ourselves. We had to work on huge A1 papers again, so I had to fold them to take home. I also just got a haircut so I could draw my new hair! First drawing was too small so I had to start over again.
The last assignment was to use the frottages into the drawing and accentuate some features. I chose hair, eyebrows and the mouth. Too bad of the fold, it was not supposed to be there, but in the train you really want to have some compact papers.

school work and such
For sculpture class I have to make a sculpture at home, with a chosen material, and you can see the result so far in this photo. I have to add some more spoons and then I will take some more photos of it and ... transport it to class. That will be an adventure, it is hard to transport this on the bus/train/bicycle, which I use to get to school.
I also finished a new painting, which I will take with me for judgement day. This one is inspired by Las Vegas and pop culture.
Do you remember the scarf I was knitting? I finished now, and here you see me wearing it. :> It has been ages since I took a photo of myself haha. I am more suitable to be behind the camera I think. The scarf is kinda small though, so I guess it is more suitable for summer.

Halloween commission
Today I finished a speed painting commission for a client. The commission was all about Halloween so I decided to go with the scary nurse theme. This green feline may have a lot of blood stains, but she also offers some candy.

frottages
Next week I will have drawing lessons again and I had some homework: creating frottages. You can make a frottage by putting an object under a paper and drawing over it. This works best with objects that have a structure.
My scanner apparantly hate yellow paper. It looks way different in real life.
Gosh I had to check my system today, and it took ages so I feel like I wasted my whole Saturday afternoon.

sculptures
Gosh I am so sick today. It is hard to be productive, so I guess I can just post my school work here. Saturday I had my first Mixed Media class. The theme was sculptures. It kinda looked like the 3D lessons I had previous year. We had to use uncommon materials to make sculptures.
My classmates felt like getting experimental with smoke and bubbles. Soon the whole room was filled with bubbles and burning candles.
I tried making a sculpture with pieces of a puzzle, but it kept falling apart.
A rather simple thing with a wire, teacher liked it though. :>
After that I tried using those plastic coffee/tea spoons that you can find in most public canteens.
It kept groing and groing XD
I was surprised I could make it a hanging artwork too. Here it hangs next to a coat. My homework is to continue with this sculpture. And take it to next class, which will be hard since this material breaks very easily.
