Remaking Velazquez

Yesterday I had school. My task was to remake a work by the painter Velazquez. The teacher chose this painting of a little girl in a big dress for me to work on.

First we had to edit copies of the painting by hand. Here I made her "3D".

Erasing all unnecessary details

Adding new things

Replacing things (and I mader her taller too)

I even made her into a cartoony style.

After that I started working on the big version. I had to make my own version of this painting so I chose my favourite medium: ballpoint pens. I also used pencils, markers and paint.

Yesterday it was "judgement day" at school so I took all my recent work with me to show it there. Here are some things from them.

Whoa it seems like it is autumn again! Anyway, I am working on new things. One of them is a shoe...



It is really fun to draw on different things (and textiles).

I also finished a new acrylic painting (colours are slightly different in real life... I do not know what's wrong with my camera haha)



Unfortunately it is too big for my scanner.

Today a new shirt arrived. I won it at a contest of DeviantART (with this vector)

I was a little bored today (and sick) so I decided to fill out my own influence map. I cannot upload it to deviantART since that website doesn't load for me *sigh* (while other websites still load for me, weird...).
Anyway here you see my main influences... I did not include Pokemon but I guess that the influence of Digimon was way more anyway.
