photo update

I got some new yarn to start something new with crocheting. You see the first chain in the top picture.

And I tried something with cutouts, but this self-portrait came out a bit weird. It's so cheerful in a way.

and I finished this big ballpoint/ink drawing, it is A2 actually. It is an enlarged movie still, but I have not seen the movie and I cannot remember it. The actress is from a Dutch show called "Wie is de Mol?", that's the only thing I know.

ecoline and ink

I have been making more  things with ecoline. To me it seems like water color, but then with brighter colors and more fluid. And you can also draw with it, which is pretty cool I think.

Painting with it brings very unexpected results.

This last one is not finished yet, I do like this result so far. The lines and the planes actually follow different "rules". One is all about keeping strict form and the other one just goes everywhere.

And I finally finished this big drawing, it is A2-sized! It's about insomnia. The girl cannot sleep and looks at the clock all the time. (also uploaded this on DeviantART.)

drawings I am working on

Ok this last one is done I think. I used too much media in it.

ink

Latest school lesson was all about inking. We had to practice a lot by drawing tissue boxes from life.

These were done on A1 paper, so very big.  I took photos of them, that's why the quality is not that great.

After that we had to make sketches in the building and choose one of them. We had to recreate four versions of the selected sketch. I decided to use my sketch of some fire extinguisher.

This was some intense inking session. As you can see we made a lot of images.

school stuff

I tried to paint on cardboard, pretty hard actually. Here I wanted to make something like those classical icons that you see in catholic churches.

I also finished this drawing, from a tuff lady. You gotta be tuff when you have a bloody cloth in front of your eye, heh?

This is a sketch for a new drawing. It is an EXE file, well not really.

They are all A3. Last one is not done yet.

Judgement day

Since it is a lazy Sunday I decided to finally post some more about last "judgement day" at school. I got some good critiques that I will work on for next time.

This is one of the last paintings I made for it. Maybe I should have spent more time on it, but I did not have much time left.

adventures of my spoons sculpture and biro drawings

If you visited my blog before, you may remember this sculpture. I finished it now (in other words: ran out of plastic spoons), so I took more photos of it for school.

as window decoration

It is almost like a robot, even though it does not move.

After that I took it apart to take it with me next class. There I will have to rebuild it, I hope it is not broken by then.

I also made an A3 biro drawing featuring myself. I felt like it was time to create a self-portrait without any references.

I also started on a new drawing, here you can see it will take a while because of all the details.

school work and such

For sculpture class I have to make a sculpture at home, with a chosen material, and you can see the result so far in this photo. I have to add some more spoons and then I will take some more photos of it and ... transport it to class. That will be an adventure, it is hard to transport this on the bus/train/bicycle, which I use to get to school.

I also finished a new painting, which I will take with me for judgement day. This one is inspired by Las Vegas and pop culture.

Do you remember the scarf I was knitting? I finished now, and here you see me wearing it. :> It has been ages since I took a photo of myself haha. I am more suitable to be behind the camera I think. The scarf is kinda small though, so I guess it is more suitable for summer.

What I have been drawing lately... Most are some random doodles or people in trains. XD I even was like doing sci-fi again in the last page.

3D and 2D

It has been a while since I uploaded some school-related work, so here goes. This first one is for 3D class. We all got a different theme to design a city (and we had to use materials that we took with us for class). My theme was eco city of earth, which means that it had to look very naturalistic and such. I never do 3D work so this was quite a challenge. XD

Second work is 2D, which I am very familiair with. Especially when it is about drawing. This drawing represents the brain. I also uploaded this to my deviantART (http://sushy00.deviantart.com).
